The other day I needed to buy face lotion and face wash. I hate buying girly stuff. But I've got a system worked out, whenever I need to reload on my girly products I make sure to buy it on a bike other than mine. Celebrities wear big goofy hats to hide, I just ride the most recent bike that we've finished - it's a fool proof idea. Unfortunate for you, I've tainted this bike with a less than manly stop at Lush. Nothing is worse than riding home with that girly bag.

Insecurities? Whatever.

He is best known as an Italian cycling legend, winning the Tour de France twice and the Giro d'Italia three times. Most recently on June 12, 2012, Aili McConnon, published a book titled Road to Valor documenting Gino's life on an off the race track.

Now instead of rewritting an already nicely written article (remember the bogus busy work they made us do in English class?) here is an already well written excerpt that I am not rewriting. Sorry Ms. - no busy seat work for me:

Bartali has earned respect for his work in helping Jews who were being persecuted by the Nazis during the time of the Italian Social Republic. He used his fame to carry messages and documents to the Italian Resistance often cycling from Florence through Tuscany, Umbria, and Marche, sometimes traveling as far afield as Rome. He would leave Florence in the morning, pretending to train, rode to a convent in which the Jews were hiding, collected their photographs and rode back to deliver the documents. Bartali used his position to learn about raids on safehouses.

In 1943, he led Jewish refugees towards the Swiss Alps himself. He cycled pulling a wagon with a secret compartment, telling patrols it was just part of his training. Bartali was eventually taken to Villa Triste in Florence. The SD and the Italian RSS office, Mario Carità questioned Bartali, threatening his life. Bartali simply answered "I do what I feel in my heart"

What a legacy.

Ideally, a good bike for a Torontonian is one with Toronto heritage. Let's be honest, you wouldn't go to a Blue Jays game wearing a Red Cincinnati's hat, so why would you ride around Toronto on a bike other than a Toronto one? You wouldn't!

Inspired by Italian-made bikes importated to Canada, Jim Miele gave birth to these bikes he dubbed Miele - I believe in Latin that "loosely" translates to, "Damn, that's one sexy bike!"

Someone once suggest to me that having bird poo land on you is considered good luck. If you carry this notion towards objects then I am proud to show you the luckiest bike we've ever had. In the time between setting up this bike and setting up my camera on my tripod, a bird pooped on it. I imagine your life will change once you purchase this bike. With a bike this lucky, you can say goodbye to hitting potholes, getting flat tires and having girls ignore you. To whomever buys this, I hope you keep us posted and substantiate these claims.

If you look carefully at the left profile photo, you will notice some bird doo doo on the left chain stay. It has since been wiped off. Bless those seagulls...

You and I both know that a proper bike is an important factor in an individual's attractiveness to the opposite gender. Sure, you may get a few looks when riding your blandly painted supercycle covered in rust - you might even get a smile. But this Peugeot is natures pheromones - strangers will be magnetized towards you. It'll change you for all the right reasons, you'll ride around Toronto with a new confidence that you never had before and you'll grow that goatee your girlfriend won't let you grow. Forget about buying a leather jacket and musk oil, this teal and white Peugeot is all you need.

As the weather is getting better, I keep thinking that it would be a good idea to find a new owner, so I'm on a hunt for one dedicated open minded individual. Ideally, you would be 5'9 to 5'11, a sugar momma (or daddy) and have a reasonable size garage or dedicated spot in your bedroom where I can rest my wheels at night.

A little bit about me: This is my first time posting here on the TVB personals. I'm about 57cm, gold in colour and a slender 22.5lbs - tee-he. I get along well with other bikes but I don't like small children. Interested? well let's see if we're compatible over a quick test ride. Serious enquiries only.
